Unfortunately, given the changing nature of the recall, we cannot at this time provide a guaranteed "safe list" of products but do recommend that you check FDA's website regularly for updates of foods that are not safe to use. You may also visit Pet Food List.com for a list of foods NOT on any recall list. So far, NO PRODUCTS REGULARLY SOLD BY OUR FACILITY HAVE BEEN AFFECTED BY ANY RECALLS. Homemade diets should be done only under the advise of a veterinarian; for more information, you may visit balanceit.com, or petdiets.com.

Dear Clients,
The FDA recently announced a recall affecting various brands of "chunk-and-gravy" pet-canned foods. Clients are encouraged to check their pet food inventories for recalled foods and should discontinue them immediately. (Remember to check for matching lot numbers.) The following is a compilation of relevant numbers to call, websites to check, and specific foods. If you are a client whose pet we've seen before, and have questions after reviewing this list, feel free to call us during office hours at 562-435-6331. If your pets have been eating the food implicated in the recall list, we recommend an exam by your veterinarian and possible blood and urine tests. If your pets are ill (not eating, vomiting, increased water drinking and/or increased urination), you should contact us or the emergency clinic immediately.
Thank You,
Dr. Tran & Staff
